Motivational Leadership in Healthcare Organizations

Participants in class exploring issues using flip-chartSuccessful healthcare leaders are skilled at establishing a high performance work climate and effectively matching individual capabilities and behavorial characteristics to jobs. This class uses real-world case studies of hospital systems and physician group practices to to show how these leaders are able to:

  • create alignment among physicians, administrators and clinical staff
  • frame problems in a way that leads to productive discussion and resolution
  • identify behavioral matches and mismatches to specific jobs
  • positively influence and shape their medical organization's culture

This course is eligible for 4 hours of graduate academic credit and up to 32 hours of Category 1 CME credit toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.
