The Master of Science degree requires completion of the nine healthcare management classes OR any eight classes plus a self-directed field study. Classes meet in Dallas in focused 4-day sessions—Saturday through Tuesday—to minimize time away from clinical practice. A different class is offered every two months. Classes may be started at any time and taken in any order. The program can be completed in as little as 14 months or extended up to six years.

Classes are jointly taught by senior business and medical school faculty with real-world healthcare experience. The curriculum includes:

These classes provide physicians the tools and resources that will give them an edge in the changing healthcare environment

Classes are eligible for graduate academic credit, Category 1 CME credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award and CEU credit for healthcare administrators. A Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management is awarded for successful completion of any five healthcare management classes.

Healthcare Management Executive MBA

The Healthcare Management Executive MBA is a general business degree preferred by healthcare administrators and by those physicians who wish to pursue a career in healthcare consulting.
